Chief Samuel Olaniyi Bolarinde graduated in Industrial Chemistry from John Daton College, Manchester, England. He obtained a Postgraduate diploma in Polymer Science from the same college and a certificate in Management from Ashridge Management College, UK.
He also holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Surrey, UK. He joined the Board in 1977 and became the Managing Director of the company in 1983.
He retired from the position in June 2002 having been in employment of the
company for a period of 35 years. He is presently the Chairman of the Board
Dr. Bamidele Osuolale Makanjuola - Managing Director
Dr. Bamidele Osuolale Makanjuola is a first class Chemical Engineering graduate of University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Ile-Ife. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Chemical Engineering and Economics from the Loughborough University of Technology, UK. He is a member of both the Polymer Institute of Nigeria and the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
He became the Executive Director in charge of Corporate Planning and Development in December 2001 and was appointed Managing Director on 1st April, 2006.
Mr. Joel Olatoye Ajiga - Technical Director
Mr. Joel Olatoye Ajiga is a Chemical Engineering graduate of University of Benin. He graduated with a Second Class Upper Division.
He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers, Nigerian Institute of Management and Certifies Institute if Cost Management of Nigeria.
He attended the Senior Management Programme of Lagos Business School, Pan African University, Lagos in 2007.
He joined Vitafoam Nigeria Plc. in 1991 as Production Manager and worked in all the company's factory locations. He was the Head of Technical until his appointment as Technical Director in December 2008.
Mr. Peter Bababunmi Folikwe - Sales & Marketing Director
Mr. Peter Bababunmi Folikwe is a Marketing Graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsuka.
He also holds a Masters degree in Business administration from the University of Benin, Nigeria.
He joined Vitafoam Nigeria Plc. as Assistant Sales Manager in August 1991 and left for MTN NIgeria Communications Limited in 2001. He returned to Vitafoam Nigeria Plc. in August 2006 as Head, Sales & Marketing department and was appointed the Sales and Marketing Director in December 2008.
Mr. Brabindoh Oruware Ogun - Finance Director
Mr. Brabindoh Oruware Ogun holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Rivers State University of Science & Technology, Port Harcourt. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chattered Accountants of Nigeria and Associate member of the Chattered Institute of Taxation in Nigeria.
He was a partner with DFK, Giwa-Osagie & Co., a major international accounting firm, for over six years.
He joined Vitafoam Nigeria Plc. as Head, Finance & Accouts in January 2008 and was appointed Finance Director in December 2008.
Mr. Bashiru Adetomiwa Lasisi
Mr. Bashiru Adetomiwa Lasisi is a graduate of Business Studies from NorthWest Polytechnic (Now North London University).
He had his post graduate qualifications in Marketing and Office Management from the Institute of Marketing and the Institute of Administration both in England.
He was appointed as Executive Director of the company in 1996 and retired from the position in March 2004.
He was however re-appointed to the Board on September 2, 2004 in non-executive capacity.
Mr. Sam N. Okagbue
Mr. Sam N. Okagbue is a legal practitioner of repute. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law from University of Ife (Now Obafemi Awolowo University) in 1980 and Masters degree from University of London, London School of Economics in 1983 and graduated from the Nigerian Law School in 1981. He has been actively engaged in the practice of law for over twenty five years. He specialized in Energy Law, Corporate and Commercial Law, and International Business Transactions. He is the Managing Partner and founding member if George, Ikoli & Okagbue (Legal Practitioners).
He was appointed to the Board of the company with effect from 1st October, 2009.
Engr. (Mrs.) Florence Seriki
Engr. (Mrs.) Florence Seriki, MFR, holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University). She is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers, Nigerian Computer Society (NCS) and the Institute of Directors. She is a notable entrepreneur and Industrialist who started Omatek Ventures Plc 22 years ago. She is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the First Completely Knocked Down Computer Factories in Nigeria and Ghana.
She was appointed to the Board of the company with effect from 1st October,
2009.
Mr. Hassan Usman
Mr. Hassan Usman is a first class graduate of Accounting from Ahmadu Bello Univeristy, Zaria.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chattered Accountants of Nigeria. He attended Advanced management Programme at Oxford University in 2002 and other courses and conferences locally and internationally.
He has served on the Board of Hamdala Hotel, Bank of the North Trustees Limited and Newdevco Finances Services Limited.
He was appointed to the Board of the company with effect from 1st January,2010.
