The Vita Grand mattress uses medium density foam under a quilted damask cover. Medium density gives at the hip and shoulder, then holds under the lower back. We tape the border with damask textile, which keeps the edge firm when you sit on the side of the bed.

This model suits sleepers up to 70kg, so it covers older children, teenagers and adults of lighter build.

Who the Vita Grand mattress suits

It suits homes that need several beds furnished at once, because the build holds up in daily use and the sizes fit most standard frames. Guest houses choose it for the same reason, since the cover wipes clean between stays.

If you weigh more than 70kg, move to the Vita Supreme mattress, which carries up to 100kg in a firmer build.

Build and sizes

The core uses medium density foam, and the cover uses quilted damask fabric with a tape edged border. Ten sizes run from 6 x 3 to 7 x 7, at 10 inches or 12 inches deep. We also cut long lengths of 14 feet to 20 feet on request. A 6 x 6 measures 75 by 72 inches.

Care

Turn the mattress every three months, then rotate the head and foot ends on the same visit. Air it for a few hours after turning. Wipe marks with a damp cloth and mild soap, and let the cover dry before you make the bed. Do not fold the foam.

Delivery and warranty
