Office Laminate Desk

About the office laminate desk

The office laminate desk is an executive desk with an extension and a three drawer pedestal. The extension gives you a return for a second screen or a printer, so the main surface stays clear for paper.

The laminate finish wipes clean and stands up to daily use. It does not mark the way a bare veneer does when a cup goes down without a coaster.

What the pedestal holds

Three drawers take files, stationery and a laptop at the end of the day. Keeping them in the pedestal rather than on the surface means the desk is clear when a client walks in.

Where the office laminate desk suits

It suits a home office and a corporate floor. It also works in a reception area where one desk has to look presentable and hold the paperwork behind it.

Because the desk is a fixed unit, plan the room before delivery. Leave space behind the chair to push back, and keep the pedestal away from a door swing.

Care and upkeep

Dust the surface each week and wipe marks with a damp cloth and mild soap. Use coasters under hot cups, because heat lifts laminate edges over time. Check the drawer runners once a year and tighten the handles.

Delivery and warranty

Orders leave from Vitafoam showrooms and distributors nationwide. For an office fit out, ask your distributor about several desks on one order. We confirm your delivery window at checkout, and the box paperwork states the warranty that applies.

Because the desk has an extension, one order covers the main surface and the return. If you fit out a floor, ask your distributor to quote for several desks at once. Then dust the laminate each week, since dust dulls the finish under office light. Also check the drawer handles each year, because they work loose with daily use.
