Vita Sizzler Mattress

About the Vita Sizzler mattress

The Vita Sizzler mattress is a super soft foam bed over a high density core. The top gives a lot at the shoulder and hip, then the dense base stops the body from sinking further. Softness at the surface and support underneath rarely come together, and that pairing is what this model is built around.

High density foam also holds its shape. A soft block that is not dense enough will flatten in the middle within a year, which is the usual reason people replace a soft mattress.

Who the Vita Sizzler mattress suits

It suits sleepers up to 120kg who want a plush surface without losing support. Side sleepers get the most from it, because the shoulder needs room to sink. Couples also fit this band without either side pressing through to the base.

If you would rather have a firmer surface, compare the Vita Spring Firm mattress.

Because the base is dense, the soft top does not bottom out, so the shoulders and hips stay level.

Build and sizes

The core uses high density foam with a plush upper layer and a quilted cover. Sizes run from 6 x 3.5 to 7 x 7, and long lengths of 14 feet to 20 feet are cut on request. Depth runs from 8 inches to 12 inches. A 6 x 6 measures 75 by 72 inches.

Care

Turn the mattress every three months, then rotate the head and foot ends. Air it for a few hours after turning, because foam holds warmth. Wipe marks with a damp cloth and mild soap, then let the cover dry before you make the bed. Do not fold the foam.
