About the Vita Spring Firm mattress
The Vita Spring Firm mattress is built for sleepers above 100kg. A tempered spring core takes the weight, and each coil moves with the body rather than staying rigid. That keeps the hips and shoulders level with the rest of the spine.
Firmness matters in this band, because a soft foam block bottoms out under a heavy body and leaves the lower back unsupported. Springs spread that load across the whole sleeping area.
Who the Vita Spring Firm mattress suits
It suits sleepers who wake with a stiff lower back, and anyone who has been told to use a firmer surface. People who share a bed also get an even surface, because the coils carry two weights without dipping in the middle.

Build and sizes
The core uses tempered steel springs with a padded top layer and a tape edged border. We cut eight sizes, from 6 x 3 to 7 x 7, and every size runs at 10 inches deep. A 6 x 6 measures 75 by 72 inches.
Also, the border holds its shape when you sit on the edge, which helps when you get in and out of bed. However, the surface stays firm, so the hips do not drop into a dip.
Care
Turn the mattress every three months, then rotate the head and foot ends on the same visit. Air it for a few hours after turning. Wipe marks with a damp cloth and mild soap. Never fold the spring core, because the coils can bend and the surface will not return to level.
